Pellegrini prepared to cover costs of visit to Germany on govt aircraft

Ex-premier Peter Pellegrini (Voice-SD) is prepared to pay the costs of a New Year's Eve 2019 trip to the German city of Dresden, where he flew on a government aircraft allegedly to support a Slovak tenor singer and represent Slovakia. "I went there to represent the country and, with good intentions, to support our artist. If I hurt or offended anyone by that, I'll accept the consequences. I'm ready to repay the costs," Pellegrini said in response to reports that he flew on the government aircraft on a whim at the state's expense.
