Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini said the informal EU summit, held at Sibiu in Romania on Thursday, was the continuation of the 2016 Bratislava summit's initiative under Slovakia's presidency of the EU Council that year. "We should send a clear signal that the leaders of the EU have a clear vision for the EU's future, its direction and priorities," Pellegrini told reporters after his arrival in Sibiu. The Slovak Prime Minister also voiced his hope that the conclusions of this summit will be the most specific possible.
