Pellegrini calls on government to resign

Ex-premier and head of the extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party Peter Pellegrini has called on the Government to resign to allow for an early general election. Pellegrini told a press conference on Thursday that the government is incapable of dealing with the current situation and that the only things that it has to offer are internal disputes and arrests of opposition representatives. Pellegrini denied claims that his party has agreed on a coalition with the extra-parliamentary Progressive Slovakia party and the governing Freedom and Solidarity party, calling them "sick fabrications" of OLaNO leader Igor Matovic.
