PCR confirms COVID in one-third of antigen tests in schools

The PCR method with a laboratory analysis has confirmed the COVID infection in about one-third of the antigen tests that were positive in schools last Monday, the Czech Health Ministry told journalists today. The more precise PCR test confirmed the infection in 1,236 students and 177 teachers and other employees in the educational sector. In all, 1.45 million people were tested in schools. Of them, 0.1 percent tested positive.
