Pavel Zeman running for European Court of Human Rights judge

Supreme State Attorney Pavel Zeman wants to be a judge of the European Court of Human Rights (ESLP) and he has sent his application for the selection procedure, the spokesman for the Supreme State Attorney's Office, Petr Maly, told journalists on Monday. "Pavel Zeman has decided to join the selection procedure for the candidates for ESLP judge put up by the Czech Justice Ministry," Maly said. "He has decided to take this step after a serious consideration and he considers it right to announce his candidature publicly."
