Parlt to elect successor to Ombudswoman Patakyova in March

Parliament is set to elect a new public ombudsperson in March, as incumbent Ombudswoman Maria Patakyova will see her tenure end on March 29, according to decision by House Chair Boris Kollar posted on the House website. The March session is slated to begin on March 15. The public ombudsperson is elected to a five-year tenure, and candidates must be nominated by at least 15 lawmakers.
