Parliament on Wednesday approved an increase in the upper limit of NATO soldiers allowed to serve in the multinational battle group stationed in Slovakia. In line with the increase, a further 900 soldiers can be sent from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia and the USA, meaning that the battle group could consist of up to 3,000 soldiers. The number of Czech soldiers should grow by 100, while Germany could send an extra 500, the USA 200 and Slovenia 100.
