Parents of Kuciak and Kusnirova convinced of Marian K.'s guilt

The parents of murdered Jan Kuciak and Martina Kusnirova on Thursday said they had hoped that Marian K. and Alena Zs. would not be acquitted of the charges. Zlatica Kusnirova said she hopes that the Supreme Court will reverse the verdicts. Jan Kuciak's former colleague from news outlet aktuality.sk Marek Vagovic harbours the same hope, saying he was convinced that Marian K. and Alena Zs. are guilty. "It's wrong; it shows that justice hasn't taken up office in Slovakia yet. We continue to fight," said Zlatica Kusnirova, who is convinced that Marian K. and "others", whom she defined as "all financial groups" while refusing to specify any, were behind the murder.
