Pandemic has deprived travel agencies of 88 pc of Clients and 87 pc of revenues

Slovak travel agencies experienced record falls in 2020, with the coronavirus pandemic depriving them of 88 percent of their clients and 87 percent of revenues, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. Only 51,000 people made use of organised trips abroad offered by Slovak travel agencies in 2020, while the figure was 692,000 in 2019.
