Over 50 percent of Czechs would vote for EU entry again - survey

Fifty-six percent of Czechs would vote for joining the EU if there was a referendum in October, which is 9 percent more than in May, but similar to October 2019, a survey conducted by the STEM institute and the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy showed. The popularity of the EU rose again in reaction to the EU's response to the coronavirus pandemic and its active engagement in negotiations concerning the COVID-19 vaccine and drug import, researcher Vit Havelka from EUROPEUM said.
