Over 23,000 with chronic illnesses register for Covid vaccine

More than 23,000 people with chronic illnesses under 70 who belong to risk groups have registered to get vaccinated against Covid-19 on the first day of registrations in the Czech Republic, and some 1,450 have received the inoculation slot, according to data released by the Health Information and Statistics Institute (UZIS). More than a half of those who have registered are over 60, while roughly 7,700 are over 65.
