Over 2,400 Ukrainians enter Slovakia on Tuesday

A total of 2,437 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Tuesday, of whom 640 were men, 1,422 women and 375 children, Interior Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova said. Of the total, 232 have applied for temporary refuge in Slovakia. Meanwhile, 2,805 people crossed into Ukraine via the same border on Tuesday. Slovakia has registered 412,988 Ukrainian refugees since the start of the war. The country has granted temporary refuge to 75,083 of them since March 1.
