Over 15,000 Slovaks express interest in Sputnik V jab

A total of 15,681 Slovaks have expressed interest in receiving the Russian-made Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine, the Health Analysis Institute (IZA) told TASR on Thursday. Most of those who have expressed an interest in the jab are in the 45-49 age group. Slovaks had until June 30 to register for the vaccine. The data suggest that 8,818 people are still waiting for the first dose of Sputnik V, while a total of 7,573 people are waiting for the second dose of the vaccine.
