There are over 1 million immigrants working in the Polish economy, Jacek Kotlowski, the deputy director of the Economic Analyses Department of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) told reporters on Tuesday. "Tensions on the labour market have been significantly relaxed by the flow of immigrants. (...) There are nearly 900,000 from Ukraine alone, and there are also immigrants from other countries, like, for instance, Belarus. We believe that there are over 1 million immigrants working in Poland," Kotlowski said.
