Laboratories confirmed 1,823 new COVID-19 cases in the Czech Republic on Sunday, over twice as many as a week ago and the highest Sunday figure since early April, and 885 COVID patients needed hospital care, including 131 in a serious condition, the Health Ministry's data show today. The number of the hospitalised with the coronavirus infection keeps rising. Last Sunday, 526 people required hospital treatment and 91 of them were in a serious condition.
