The head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation (OSCE) mission monitoring Polish general elections, Jan Petersen, said that the organisation would monitor a possible recount of votes. The ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party has filed objections to the results with the Supreme Court in a bid to recount votes for six Senate seats after the party failed to secure a majority in the upper house.
