Prime Minister Viktor Orban will participate in a video call of European Union leaders following talks with his Visegrad Group counterparts on Thursday. "We have but a single topic, a really important one, and that is the situation around vaccines and their procurement," Orban said of the summits in a video on Facebook. "Brussels has taken it upon itself to procure the vaccines for member states," Orban noted. "If it succeeds, and it goes quickly, we can save many lives, but it takes long, we will lose many." The prime minister said the focus of the meetings would be on "how we can get Brussels to make the procurement of vaccines quicker ... and more effective".
