Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday met Francois-Xavier Bellamy, the head of France's Republicans in the European Parliament, in Budapest, to discuss European solutions to the novel coronavirus epidemic, the economic crisis and mass migration. Bellamy is in Budapest to lead a web conference Europe without Censorship, organised by the Foundation for a Civic Hungary on Wednesday, the prime minister's press chief told MTI. Orban will attend the conference alongside Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, Bertalan Havasi said. Orban and Bellamy discussed current European affairs, the EU 2021-2027 budget, the bloc's recovery package after the coronavirus pandemic, approaches to handling migration and the future of Christian democracy, Havasi said.
