Orban: Hungary supports Albania's EU accession

Hungary is fully committed to supporting Albania's European Union accession at the earliest possible time, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday after talks with Albanian counterpart Edi Rama. Orban told a press conference that Hungary supported Albania's accession also because the country's EU membership would serve Hungary's interests. Without the perspective of Albania's membership, the continent's security cannot be guaranteed, either in terms of politics or economy, he added.
