Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks on central and eastern Europe's energy sovereignty and efforts to consolidate the north-south energy corridor with Polish PKN Orlen president Daniel Obajtek and MOL Chairman-CEO Zsolt Hernadi in Budapest on Wednesday, Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief said. The talks touched on the two companies' recent contract, under which MOL will purchase 417 petrol stations in Poland, and PKN Orlen 185 stations in Hungary and Slovakia. The Hungarian government welcomes the contract, which will boost the two countries' traditionally good relations, V4 cooperation and economic development in central and eastern Europe, he said.
