Orban: EU summit to focus on pandemic response

The coronavirus pandemic and Europe's response measures are expected to be the focus of the upcoming European Union summit, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in Brussels on Thursday. EU leaders will discuss how they can best assist each other in their protective measures and mount a coordinated response to the pandemic, the prime minister said in a video message on Facebook. Orban said that hopefully EU leaders would also "receive some good news" about when a Covid-19 vaccine would be ready, as well as how and when member states would have access to it.
