Opposition wants MPs to debate accepting child refugees

The centre-right opposition parties will call on the Chamber of Deputies today to debate a resolution to express its willingness to aid the 200 Czech families prepared to accept minors from the refugee camps in Greece, the parties' representatives have said. The Czech Republic should show humanity and accept orphans from the refugee camps in Greece, otherwise it would face shame, former foreign minister Karl Schwarzenberg (opposition TOP 09), a doyen in the Chamber of Deputies, said today.
