Opposition to provoke no-confidence vote in Babis's government

May 31st, 2019

Opposition parties will insist on calling a Chamber of Deputies session to take a no-confidence vote if the report on Prime Minister Andrej Babis's conflict of interest is confirmed, Ivan Bartos, the chairman of the opposition Pirates, told journalists today. The parties also want the state to demand that the Agrofert holding from Babis's trust fund pay back the EU subsidies.
