Borys Budka, leader of the main opposition party Civic Platform (PO), has asked Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to introduce a state of natural disaster, which would allow a postponement of the presidential election due on May 10. In Budka's opinion, Poland is currently dealing with a state of emergency, but neither Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki nor President Andrzej Duda have yet presented any "comprehensive plan of action for the coming weeks and months."
