Opposition criticises Babis's govt in no-confidence vote debate

June 26th, 2019

Czech opposition parties' leaders sharply criticised the government of Andrej Babis and argued in support for its departure in the lower house debate preceding its opposition-provoked vote of no confidence in the cabinet today. Despair characterises the current minority government of ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD), propped up by the Communists (KSCM), Christian Democrat (KDU-CSL) head Marek Vyborny said. He added that Babis wants to manage the state like his own firm and democracy bothers him.
