Czech Ombudsman Stanislav Krecek has joined the proposal by a group of senators that the Constitutional Court abolish a part of the government directive that makes vaccination against Covid mandatory for people over the age of 60 and selected professions as of March, his spokeswoman Marketa Bockova said on Wednesday. Krecek has joined, as a secondary participant in the proceedings, the complaint signed by 14 senators and seeking a partial scrapping of the directive which the then outgoing cabinet of Andrej Babis approved in late 2021.
