OLaNO: Government losing battle against VAT evaders

According to the opposition OLaNO party the government is "failing in the battle" against VAT evaders. The party has said that the shortfall in collecting VAT revenues grew to 2.3 billion euros last year, while fraud regarding this tax increased by 200 million euros. The party has called on president of the Financial Administration Lenka Wittenbergerova to report to the parliamentary financial committee regarding planned measures to combat such fraud this year.
