The OLaNO party will file a criminal complaint against Slovak Beekeepers Association president Milan Rusnak over his untrue statements on the drafted animal protection bill, MP Monika Kozelova (OLaNO), one of the bill's co-sponsors, declared at a press conference on Tuesday. "We're working on the criminal complaint over the slandering of OLaNO's reputation as well as scare mongering. Mr. Rusnak, instead of apologising, has continued his activities," stated Kozelova. On February 8, Rusnak reported that a group of lawmakers centred around Kozelova is drafting the animal protection bill that will limit beekeeping only to an area of one square kilometre, which would amount to a 72-percent drop in beekeeping in Slovakia.
