Official: Base wage of health-care professionals up 14 pc from Jan

Health-care professionals will receive a 14 percent increase in base wages from January, the state secretary in charge of health care said on Tuesday. The increase is part of a multi-step wage growth scheme that began in 2016, Ildiko Horvath told a press conference. It scheme demonstrates the government's dedication to expressing an appreciation for workers in health care and to retaining them, she added.
