All seven Slovaks who were diagnosed with the South African variant of the coronavirus over the weekend have recent travel history, health ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Eliasova told TASR on Wednesday, adding that there has been no confirmation that the strain has spread any further in the country. Regional public health offices recently registered seven people infected with the South African mutation. While a total of five men and women returned from trips to Tanzania and Zanzibar, one woman has been to both countries, while the last one visited Turkey.
