The number of teachers and students who tested positive for Covid-19 has increased about three times since September 11 in the Czech Republic, which is 2,057 people altogether as of September 25, causing either full or partial closure of some 480 schools, data from the Health Ministry show. The highest number of affected schools is located mainly in the Central Bohemia and the Plzen, west Bohemia, regions. Overall, the South Bohemia Region saw the highest number of infected students, while the most teachers have been infected in the Liberec Region, north Bohemia.
