Number of new COVID cases still falling, vaccinations record high

Czechia had 11,083 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, one quarter fewer than a week ago, and saw the record high number of over 44,000 people vaccinated against the virus on both Wednesday and Thursday, the Health Ministry's data show today. The total number of vaccine doses applied since the start of the vaccination in late 2020 has reached almost one million, with some 288,000 people receiving both necessary doses.
