Number of foreign nationals employed in Slovakia up

According to statistics provided by the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and the Family (UPSVAR), there are currently more working foreigners in Slovakia than at the end of 2018. The office registered 78,298 working foreigners at the end of 2019, which represents an annual increase of 9,182. There are fewer Serbs, but the number of Ukrainians has grown, the office said. Altogether, there are 32,114 employed from EU-member countries and more than 46,000 from third countries.
