Number of Czech Alzheimer patients doubles in ten years

The number of people treated for Alzheimer's disease (AD) more than doubled in Czechia over the past ten years and there were 68,120 Alzheimer?=80=99s patients in 2020, according to the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (UZIS) data. But experts pointed out that Alzheimer's disease is not revealed in a considerable part of the patients as the persons are considered moody, awkward or having other troubles caused by their old age.
