Number of coronavisus cases in Poland rises to 378, death toll to 6

Eleven new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Poland, bringing the total number of infections to 378, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. To date, six people have died from the disease. The sixth victim was a 27-year old woman, who had been in serious condition prior to contracting the virus, the ministry said. She died in a hospital in Lancut, south-eastern Poland. The first case of coronavirus infection in Poland was reported on March 4, with the patient hospitalised in the western city of Zielona Gora.
