The number of Poland's confirmed coronavirus infections has grown since Thursday by 6,379 new cases and reached 1,577,036, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Another 247 people have died, bringing the death toll to 40,424. The health ministry also reported that 12,215 people with confirmed coronavirus infection have been hospitalised and 149,615 are under quarantine. So far, 1,330,127 people have recovered.
