Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland reaches 1,496,665

The number of Poland's confirmed coronavirus infections has grown since Wednesday by 7,156 new cases and reached 1,496,665, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. Another 389 people have died, bringing the death toll to 36,443. The health ministry also reported that 13,879 people with confirmed coronavirus infection have been hospitalised and 178,510 are under quarantine. So far, 1,250,892 people have recovered.
