June 5th, 2020
The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by 129 since Thursday evening and reached 25,177, the Ministry of Health said on Friday morning. Another ten people have died, bringing the death toll to 1,127. Out of the total number of new cases, 81 were identified in the Silesia mining region of southern Poland, which so far has shown the highest number of coronavirus infections as coal companies continue to receive the results of large-scale coronavirus tests conducted on mine workers.
