June 4th, 2020
The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by 139 since Wednesday evening and reached 24,826, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday morning. Another two people have died, bringing the death toll to 1,117. Out of the total number of new infection cases, 104 were identified in the Silesia mining region of southern Poland, which so far has shown the highest number of coronavirus infections as coal companies continue to receive the results of large-scale coronavirus tests conducted on mine workers.
