The director of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NUKIB) will be a member of the central crisis team of the National Security Council, the Czech government has written on its website. The government made the decision on Monday. The change was proposed by Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar (for ANO) and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek (Social Democrats, CSSD). The two ministries' argued that the NUKIB head should join the team in order to improve the country's readiness to face hybrid threats. The significance of cyber security has been growing, they added.
