Novavax vaccine doses arrive in Slovakia

Supplies of the Novavax vaccine against Covid-19 arrived in Slovakia on Wednesday, Health Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova has confirmed to TASR, adding that vaccination with the new jab should be launched within two days. "We can confirm that these vaccine doses have been delivered to the central warehouse of the company Unipharma," said Eliasova. For now 93,000 Novavax doses have been delivered to Slovakia. Slovakia signed a contract to receive 600,000 doses of this vaccine in total.
