Not all arrivals from Italy must be tested for coronavirus, says Czech minister

February 27th, 2020

It is not necessary to test everyone who comes to the Czech Republic from northern Italy for coronavirus, since to be subjected to the test, a person must have come from an area infected with the virus and have a temperature of over 38 degrees Celsius, Health Minister Adam Vojtech said on Thursday. He was speaking after a meeting of the Czech National Epidemiological Commission. So far there have been no confirmed coronavirus cases in the Czech Republic.
