The Interior Ministry is of the view that the legal conditions for declaring the state of national emergency in the Czech Republic over the fast COVID-19 spread are not met now, Interior Minister Jan Hamacek, heading the Central Crisis Staff (UKS), told reporters after its meeting today. The Health Ministry intends to declare the state of emergency to enable to order the aid of medicine students in hospitals facing a strong inflow of COVID-19 patients.
