The Health Ministry has not yet decided on whether to comply with the Czech Vaccinology Society's advice not to administer the Covid-19 vaccines from the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson firms to people under 60, Minister Petr Arenberger said on Friday. The Czech Republic uses four vaccines against Covid-19, those from Pfizer/BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. "I can say that the vaccination is safe compared with what the Covid-19 infection causes," Arenberger said. "The risk of thrombosis is several hundred times higher if you catch Covid."
