No Czech minister to attend Beijing Olympics - PM Fiala

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala confirmed to the head of the Czech Olympic Committee (COV), Jiri Kejval, at a meeting today that no minister of his cabinet would attend the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing and he wished the athletes all the best of luck. The Olympics will take place from February 4 to February 20. Some Western countries including the U.S. have announced diplomatic boycott of the games over human rights violation in China.
