The ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrats have maintained their "massive lead" according to a poll conducted in August, with 53 percent of decided voters stating they would support the party alliance if the elections were held now, daily Magyar Nemzet said on Wednesday, citing a poll by Nezopont. The number of opposition supporters stayed unchanged or dropped last month, the paper said. The Democratic Coalition (DK) and Momentum would receive 11 percent each on the party list. Support for conservative Jobbik was 8 percent among "active voters" according to the poll made last month, representing a 1 percentage point drop from the previous month. Nezopont said, noting that support for Jobbik had been below 10 percent for several months.
