The next Czech government should make a new strategy for relations with Russia and sufficiently reflect the threat that comes from the Russian leadership, political analysts Pavel Havlicek and Tereza Souskova, from the Prague-based Association for International Affairs (AMO) NGO, have said. In their text about Czech-Russian relations after the Vrbetice case, they said an increase in the number of staff of embassies in both countries, which is also in the Czech interest, should be even and based on a strategy approved in advance. Also, the mechanism from the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation signed by Russia and the Czech Republic in 1993 should be applied, the analysts wrote.
