New STU chancellor to be appointed on Tuesday

President Zuzana Caputova is set to appoint Oliver Moravcik as the new chancellor of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) on Tuesday, the president's spokesman Martin Strizinec has said. On June 28, the academic senate of STU elected then acting chancellor Moravcik as the university's new chancellor. Rectors of universities in Slovakia are appointed to their posts by the president after the education minister approves the proposal of the given university.
