New sculpture commemorates families divided by Iron Curtain

November 22nd, 2019

Czech and Austrian officials and the public marked the 30th anniversary of border reopening at the Memorial to the Iron Curtain Victims in Mikulov, south Moravia, today and unveiled a new sculpture symbolising families divided by the former barrier between the communist East and the democratic West.
