New orders in industry halved in April 2020, says Slovak statistics office

New orders in Slovak industry amounted to less than 2 billion euros in April 2020, down by 57.7 percent year-on-year, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. When seasonal influences are factored in, new industrial orders decreased by 46.6 percent month-on-month in April.
